N20 / N26 timing chain and oil-filter housing
The 2012–2016 four-cylinders wear the timing-chain guides, and the oil-filter-housing gasket leaks onto the serpentine belt. Both are caught on inspection; both are far cheaper early.
N54 / N55 / B58 cooling and oil leaks
Electric water pumps, thermostats, valve-cover gaskets and oil-pan gaskets on the sixes. A coolant-temperature warning on a BMW is a stop-now warning, not a drive-home warning.
N63 / S63 V8 oil consumption and valve-stem seals
The twin-turbo V8 in the 550i, 650i, X5 50i and M cars burns oil through the valve-stem seals and runs hot. We diagnose consumption properly before anyone mentions an engine.
Carbon build-up
Direct injection coats the intake valves; rough idle and misfires around 60,000–90,000 miles. Walnut-blast cleaning is the fix.
Drivetrain Malfunction warnings
A catch-all message with a dozen causes — coils, injectors, high-pressure fuel pump, VANOS. Module-level diagnostics name the actual fault before a part is replaced.
Battery registration and coding
Every BMW battery we replace is registered and coded to the car so the charging system adapts. It is the difference between a six-year battery and a two-year one.

Do you work on M cars?
Yes. M2, M3, M4, M5, X5 M and X6 M are serviced here, including alignments on staggered wheels and brake work.
My BMW says 'drivetrain malfunction' — what does that mean?
It is a general warning that covers many causes, from a failing ignition coil to a fuel-pressure fault. It needs a proper module-level diagnostic, not a parts-store code read. Call or text us before driving it far.
Can you replace and register a BMW battery?
Yes. The battery is registered to the car so the charging system adjusts, which is required on most BMWs since the mid-2000s.
Do you use genuine BMW parts?
We default to OEM or OE-supplier parts and will tell you when a good aftermarket option exists.
