Car A/C repair for Houston summers
Leak detection, recharge, compressors, condensers, evaporators and blower motors — for every make, before August gets here. We find the leak first, so you're not back in three weeks.

A can of refrigerant from the parts store is not an A/C repair. Refrigerant does not get used up; if the system is low, it leaked, and it will leak again. We start with a proper leak test — dye, electronic detection, and a pressure check — then quote the actual repair, whether that is a Schrader valve, a condenser peppered by Highway 6 gravel, or a compressor.
Houston asks more of an A/C system than almost anywhere in the country. Compressors, condensers, evaporators, blend-door actuators, and blower motors all wear faster here. We service R-134a and R-1234yf systems, use the correct oil for the compressor, and pull a proper vacuum before recharging so the system actually holds.
Missouri City, Sugar Land, Stafford, Pearland and Southwest Houston drivers bring every kind of car here for A/C — the F-150 and the Range Rover get the same gauges and the same honest answer.
A/C Repair service at Missouri Car Care
Leak detection and recharge
Dye, electronic detection and pressure testing before any refrigerant goes in. We find it, then we repair the cause.
Compressors and condensers
Replaced with OE-grade parts, the correct oil, a new receiver-drier, and a full vacuum before recharge.
Electrical and controls
Blend-door actuators, blower motors and resistors, pressure switches and climate-control faults diagnosed with factory-level tools.
Evaporators
The dash-out job most shops avoid. Done here, properly.
Cooling-system check
Radiator, fans and thermostat checked with every A/C job — an overheating engine takes the A/C with it.
Heating
Heater cores, thermostats and blend doors for the six weeks a year Houston needs them.
The same standard for every car
Most of what comes through our doors is the car you drive every day. The same rack, the same technicians and the same honest estimate go to a Camry, an F-150 and a 911. If you're not sure we work on your car, call — we almost certainly do.

Houston-area ranges, before the quote
People search the cost before they search a shop, so here are honest ranges for the jobs we do most. They are typical Houston-area figures for parts and labor, not a quote — your estimate is built on your exact car and what we actually find. The one promise we make on price: the bill matches the estimate.

Frequently asked
Why does my A/C blow cold, then warm?
Usually a low charge from a leak, a failing compressor clutch, or an evaporator icing over. It needs a proper diagnosis rather than a top-off.
How long does an A/C repair take?
Leak testing and recharge is usually same-day. Compressor or condenser replacement is typically a day; evaporators take longer.
Do you service R-1234yf systems?
Yes. Most cars since about 2017 use R-1234yf, and we have the equipment for it.
Is a recharge enough?
Only if the system is nearly full and a small leak has been repaired. A recharge on a leaking system is money spent twice.
